On our visit to Portugal, we were lucky to check out some pizzerias along with visiting one of the top Michelin restaurants in the country. Belcanto is run by top chef Jose Avilez, and he opened a pizza spot called Pizzaria Lisboa.
The space seats approximately 40 guests, is comfy and casually designed, and was filled with many locals enjoying an afternoon snack. We started with their ‘cover’ bread plate, which included breadsticks, pizza bread, fresh olive oil, olives, and dips. All lovely to kickstart our meal. As placemats, they had round cork trivets, which I enjoyed! Enjoyed a simple thin pizza with salami… and beers! Salud Portugal 🙂
