The crew at Pizza Rock
It has been almost one month since the 2015 International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas! I just finished my fourth year… and it was the first year that Jon joined our crew to make the week complete! Even better, he proposed on our last day in Vegas! Good times all around.
Below are some of my favorite highlights of the expo. Reach out to me if you have any questions about attending the expo as a small pizzeria, or want to understand what goes on. So thankful that this event takes place. It really brings together great chefs in the industry and businessmen rub elbows with each other. A great platform for sharing ideas, tips, and tricks!

We even tried out some pizzas in Vegas, to which my mom said “I can’t believe you’re eating MORE pizza after you’ve eaten it all day!” Hey mom, we’re in the biz :-). This event just makes me happy, and I enjoy meeting new people and seeing what develops on the show floor to benefit business owners. Continue reading Pizza Expo 2014
Pregaming the Pizza Expo with some morning Mozzarella
Can’t wait to go!
Mom and I are ready to take over!!
On a recent trip to Redwood City, CA, I had many hours to kill before my red-eye flight back east. I recruited a few coworkers to sample some pizza I’m downtown San Francisco. I did something similar with Scott Weiner when we realized both of us were in LA. The catch was that my coworkers had never visited SFO before, so I had to make sure we saw some sights too. I had 7 stops on my list… Ambitious I know. I ended up eating at 5 different pizzerias and enjoyed the experience trekking through the unusually cold weather and rain.
