Home Run Inn- Lakeview!

Many of you know that I love Home Run Inn’s frozen pizza line. My dad in Florida is able to get them there, so he often has a few in the freezer 🙂 Home run has dine-in locations as well, but a handful of them closed many years ago. We were so excited to […]

Vines On Clark

Margherita Pizza

Wrigleyville. Cubs. Beers. Food… which led us to ordering a pizza among a handful of other appetizers at Vines on Clark.

The pizza had a ton of cheese and sauce on it, and was surprisingly cooked through and crunchy on the edges. The tomato sauce was more of a bland tomato […]

Uncommon Ground

I’ve always heard the best things about Uncommon Ground, so I was excited to celebrate Bailey’s birthday there. Ordered the only pizza on the menu, of course.

Sausage, spinach, red pepper, and fancy cheeses. The crust was a flavorful naan type of bread. Very satisfying. They had stuffed squash and loved it. I look forward to trying more of their food options when I can.

Socca

On one of my few trips to Chicago (sadness), Jon & I got together with a group of friends to eat at Socca. Socca is located right near the original Mia Francesca in Lakeview, right on the corner of the street. The dining area has many tables and a large space. Also, since they are on the corner of the street, both corner walls were mostly glass to see outside… major plus.

Sapore Di Napoli

Jon and I had a nice date night at Southport & Belmont right next to the Flat Top Grill- Lakeview. Sapore di Napoli is an authentic Neopolitan pizzeria that is also BYOB. We set off for dinner at 8:30 on a Saturday night, and when we arrived, the place was packed. We waited 15 minutes to be seated at one of the ~12 two-top tables. The restaurant was bustling, and we came just in time… there were only 10 balls of dough available at the end of their night.

Apologies for the glare in the menu!
